Disney Princesses Ralph Breaks the Internet Casual Clothes
Disney
We have three months untilRalph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 hits theaters, but its latest teaser has already, well, broken the Internet.
In Entertainment Weekly's sneak peek of the upcoming animated film, the Disney Princesses trade their extravagant gowns for sweats and sneakers. The royals are gathered at a slumber party with Vanellope, and each of them have undergone a dramatic costume change. You really can't blame them, though. Rocking a long, weighty gown on a daily basis is rough. Imagine the chafing and the exhausting day-in, day-out glam a la Kylie Jenner. It's nice to see them relax for once.
EW/Disney
"I'm very proud of my character being a Disney Princess with a human waist," said Sarah Silverman, who reprised her voice role as Vanellope von Schweetz. "I love that she is a princess but wears, like, a hoodie, and she inspires them all to wear comfortable clothes."
As a laid-back version of the princesses is a rare gift, let's take a deep dive into their sartorial choices.
Cinderella
EW/Disney
Swapping her glass slippers for a pair of brown flats, Cindi opted for baby blue yoga pants and a 3/4 sleeve shirt with a pumpkin carriage graphic and the text "GTG" on it. Very on brand, I see.
Elsa
Elsa chose a cool blue sweater with the words '"Just Let It Go" written in all caps. Someone's been shopping at Wildfox!
Anna
Elsa's baby sis is in her signature braids wearing a green checkered flannel, shorts, grey sneakers, and a graphic tee with a photo of a sandwich and "Finish each other's" written on it. Extra points for the nod to iconic Frozen anthem "Love Is An Open Door," which everyone has memorized by now.
Mulan
EW/Disney
Our favorite warrior is sporting a red and yellow bomber jacket with Mushu dragons on the shoulders, cuffed skinny jeans, and red Chuck Taylors. 10/10 would cop the jacket.
Snow White
An off-the-shoulder top with a poison apple graphic printed on the center and the word "Poison" emblazoned underneath. Such a power move. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, am I right?
Ariel
This half-mermaid seems to be isolated from the group, sitting on a separate couch and looking a bit sad. Guess we'll have to wait to find out why. Her whole outfit isn't showcased in the photo, but she's wearing a purple shirt that seems to be the same hue as her beautiful shell bra.
Pocahontas
She's holding a pillow to her chest so you can't see her entire ensemble, but she's donning a purple long-sleeved shirt that says "Blue Corn Moon." Again, very on brand.
Moana
EW/Disney
Moana is rocking an orange tank top with an illustration of a tropical island and the word "shiny" written on top. She paired it with yellow shorts. See, you can take the girl out of the island, but you can't take the island out of the girl!
Rapunzel
She's outfitted in a striped hoodie in the same color as her dress and purple leggings with printed floating lanterns. Cute!
Tiana
Tiana has her hair down, flaunting her gorgeous curls. She's donning a light green off-the-shoulder top like Snow White, but hers has "NOLA" written on it. She paired it with yellow pants and brown boots, and she's all set on snacks with a frappucino in hand.
We're missing Jasmine, Belle, Merida, and Aurora, but you can catch them in the trailer below.
Belle
As usual, her hair is in a ponytail with a yellow bow. She's wearing a comfy matching tank and has a book in hand.
Merida
Similar to Anna, Merida is sporting a green flannel top, a graphic shirt with "Mum" written at the center and an illustration of a roaring bear. She paired it with cargo shorts.
Aurora
Aurora is wearing a striped long-sleeved shirt that says "Nap Queen," coupled with a pair of pink leggings.
That leaves us with Jasmine. According to Twitter, she may not have been allowed to attend the sleepover.
We can't wait to see the Disney princesses' laidback outfits in detail when Wreck-It Ralph 2 arrives in theaters on November 21. Get excited!
